Mount Muztagh, literally also called “ice-mountain-father” is the easiest peak at the elevation of 7509 meters. It lies near Mount K2 in the Chinese Pamir between China and Pakistan border. This peak is an adventurous peak popular for skies, snowboard or snowshoe/racquets. The Mount Muztagh (Mustagata) expedition is easily accessed by road and quickest expedition. Muztagh Ata is a portion of the northern ridge of the Tibetan Plateau lined in the Xinjiang province of Western China.
The Muztagh Ata is a semi technically straightforward 7000-meter peak that can be climbed with skis or is a perfect stepping-stone to those who desire to later climb 8000 peaks. This peak is the second highest mountains the northern plateau and occupies 47th place as the tallest mountain in the world. The first successful attempt to the Mount Muztagh was made by a huge Chinese party and Soviet climber led by E.A Beletskiy via the west ridge. The expedition Base Camp lies at the elevation of 4450 meters. This expedition normally makes up to three high camps and the last high camp lies at the elevation of 6850 meters. The high Muztagh Ata and Kunlun consist of three high peaks which are Kongur Tagh (Kkongur-1) at the elevation of 7719 meters, Kongur Tube Tagh at the elevation of 7595 meters and the Muztagh Ata at the elevation of 7546 meters.

This expedition is a completely new package to those who have tried climbing Khumbu and the Mahalangur range of Nepal’s Himalayas. Mount Muztagh does not have technical ascents and for this reason, this mount is an excellent option to gain experience. However, it is important to have the good physical condition to climb the summit.
