Day 1: Drive onward Pokhara (910 meters) from Kathmandu. Duration: 6-7 hours.
We pack our stuff, take an early breakfast and take a ride to Pokhara. The drive gets quite mesmerizing as we follow the trail connecting green hills, rivers, and streams. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Drive to Nayapul and hike till Tikhedhunga (1540 meters). Duration: 5 hours.
We advance from Pokhara to Nayapul direct to transportation. We take our lunch at Nayapul and then hike to Tikhedhunga lining mountain villages and adjoining fields. Overnight at the teahouse.
Day 3: Trek advancing to Ghorepani (2750 meters) from Tikhedunga.
An uphill trek after having breakfast guides us to Ulleri and then to Ghorepani. Hike from Ulleri to Ghorepani takes us to a typical and cultural settlement of Gurung and Magar. We can have a spectacular mountain view from Ghorepani. Overnight at the teahouse.
Day 4: Poon hill hike and then to Tadapani (2710 m). Duration: 5 hours.
We hike up early to Poon hill to capture a fascinating sunrise view over the vistas like Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri and Machhapuchhre, We spend about an hour at Poon Hill to observe the surrounding vista, capture video and picture then descend to Ghorepani take a breakfast, lunch and make our way to Tadapani joining Rhododendron forest. Overnight at the teahouse.
Day 5: Trek onto Chhomrong (2100 meters) from Tadapani. Duration: 5-6 hours.
From the Tadapni, we can have concentrated exposure of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhare from the Tadapani. We make a downhill trek onto Chhomoring leaving back Tadapani. Chhomrong has the majority of Gurung community just at the foot of gigantic Annapurna massif.
Overnight at the teahouse.
Day 6: Trek onto Dovan (2430 meters) from Dovan. Duration: 5-6 hours.
We take an early breakfast and make descend onto Chhomrong Khola, hike too steep uphill Sinuwa. After crossing a minor settlement area, we can set our foot to Dovan. Overnight at the teahouse.
Day 7: Hike from Dovan onto Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700 meters). Duration: 4-5 hours.
Succeeding the wonderful night at Dovan, we make our way through Bamboo forests and steep slopes. We make contact with Himalaya Hotel (2873 meters), Hinko (3139 meters), and Deurali (3231 meters) before reaching Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). Overnight at the tented camp.
Day 8: Hike onto Annapurna Base Camp (ABC, 4130 meters). Duration: 3-4 hours.
The Machhapuchhre Base Camp offers us the magnificent views of the famous Annapurna range, Annapuran I, II, and III including Machhapuchhre, Lamjung, and others. We depart from the Machhepuchhre Base Camp succeeding in the stream in the left-hand of the Modi Khola and mark our stay at ABC. Overnight at the tented camp.
Day 9: Hike on to Bamboo from ABC (2300 meters). Distance: 4-5 hours.
The Annapurna Base Camp offers us the panoramic sight of gigantic mountains like Annapurna massifs, Machhapuchhre Himal, Gangapuran and Annapurna ranges and other huge and snow Blanket Mountains. From the ABC, we depart to Bamboo. Overnight at the teahouse.
Day 10: Hike onto Jhinu Danda and withdraw from Bamboo. Duration: 5-6 hours.
